Digital Radiography has many advantages over using the older dental films that required chemicals (that are harmful to the evironment) and time to develop. Digital Radiography uses up to 90% less radiation, thus less exposure for the patient. We also have the advantage of storing and viewing the x-rays instantlly on our operatory computers. This makes it easier for the doctor to diagnose and explain different dental conditions to you as a patient.
