High Tech Dentistry

Digital Radiography )

In 2003 Dr. Gordon Dannelly was one of the first Dental Offices in the area to upgrade to Digital Radiography. Digital Radiography has many advantages over using the older dental films that required chemicals (that are harmful to the evironment) and time to develop. Digital Radiography uses up to 90% less radiation, thus less exposure for the patient. We also have the advantage of storing and viewing the x-rays instantlly on our operatory computers. This makes it easier for the doctor to diagnose and explain different dental conditions to you as a patient.

CEREC uses CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine in one instrument.

DIAGNOdent

The DIAGNOdent is a new high tech laser system that aids in early diagnosis of cavities in the complex anatomy of the chewing surfaces of teeth. It utilizes laser light of a defined wavelength to help detect and quantify demineralized tooth substances without x-ray exposure.

Implant Dentistry

Dental Implants have become a very successful treatment option for replacing missing teeth. Dr. Dannelly and the staff of Hi-Tech Family Dentistry will be glad to explain how implants can improve your dental health. Please feel free to ask for the most current information on dental implant technology.

Do you want to get Zoomed?

Zoom!® is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. It's safe effective and fast, very fast. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. The convenience of Zoom! in comparison to days of using strips or wearing trays makes it the perfect choice for the busy individual.

Get ready to Zoom!

The Zoom! Whitening procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. The Zoom! clinician then applies the proprietary Zoom! Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You'll be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.
