Dr. Gordon D. Dannelly, DMD, PA


Dr. Gordon D. Dannelly was born and raised in a small town in South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Science, with honors, in Microbiology from Clemson University before continuing his studies at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). There, he graduated with honors and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Dannelly was also honored with the Dentsply Award for Crown and Bridge at MUSC.
Following his dental education, Dr. Dannelly completed a two-year Family Practice Residency at MUSC, where he received advanced training in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and family practice. In 1981, he moved to Easley with his wife, Kathy, and established his family dental practice.
Dr. Dannelly is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA), the Piedmont District Dental Society, and the Greenville County Dental Society. He regularly participates in continuing education courses at local, state, and national dental meetings, with a particular interest in new dental technologies. Dr. Dannelly was one of the first to introduce CEREC® One Visit Crown Technology to the upstate area and continues to embrace this evolving technology.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Dannelly enjoys spending time with his wife of 45 years, Kathy, and their four grown children and six grandchildren. When he's not in the office, you might find him on the lake, at the golf course, or working in the yard.

Kathy was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. She attended Lander College, where she played on the tennis team, before continuing her education at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she earned a degree in Medical Record Administration.
After moving to Easley, Kathy worked for the Greenville Hospital System’s Cancer Registry until she chose to become a full-time mom to their four children. Kathy is the creative force behind the beautiful seasonal décor at Hi-Tech Family Dentistry, adding her unique touch to the office’s atmosphere.
She also stays engaged with the dental community, attending state and national dental meetings, and plays an essential role in the planning and direction of Hi-Tech Family Dentistry.
Outside of her professional commitments, Kathy enjoys decorating, exercising, participating in Bible study, and spending time with family and friends, especially her six grandchildren.
